CDW Systems, the Gloucester-based aluminium specialists have finished runners-up for the Aluminium Company award at the recent National Fenestration Awards.
The trade and commercial fabricator, which is part of the East Manor Group, finished second in the industry-voted awards. Whilst the firm narrowly missed out on the main prize, they did overcome tough competition from fellow fabricators and respected aluminium systems companies from across the country.
Mike Davis, Managing Director of CDW Systems comments: “Whilst we were disappointed not to pick up the NFA trophy, we’re still really proud to be named one of the best aluminium companies in the UK by our industry peers.
“When we saw the list of nominees, we knew we’d face some stiff competition, especially with the number of well-established systems houses shortlisted. However, we can’t thank our customers, industry friends and colleagues enough for rallying behind us and helping us to finish in the podium places.
“It’s been a very busy 18 months for CDW Systems with a number of new product lines, new staff and new infrastructure changes. To be recognised as one of the UK’s best aluminium companies is incredibly humbling.”
New product lines launched by CDW Systems include the VS 600 vertical slider from Smart Systems, the new CS 77 residential door from Reynaers and the Crown flush window and sliding folding door from Sapa: Technal. CDW also announced that they now offer fully fabricated Crown and Dualframe residential doors following the recent withdrawal of Sapa: Technal door kits.
