CDW Systems is bursting with pride as it celebrates the incredible achievement of estimator/processor Tom Dwight.
Following weeks of dedicated training and fundraising, Tom successfully conquered the 100-mile Ride for London challenge in support of Leukaemia Care.
Thomas, an estimator/processor at CDW Systems, tackled the demanding route in a hugely commendable six hours and 15 minutes and raising a fantastic £510 for the charity.
“It was definitely tougher than I anticipated,” Tom admitted after the ride. “But the thought of all the incredible work Leukaemia Care does kept me pedalling. Seeing the finish line and knowing I’d not only reached my fundraising goal of £450 but beaten it was an amazing feeling. I’m so grateful to everyone who donated and supported me throughout this journey.”
Managing Director Jeremy Phillips expressed his immense pride in Tom’s accomplishment and said: “Tom’s dedication and commitment to this cause are truly inspiring. He embodies the spirit of CDW Systems – going the extra mile, not just for our customers, but for those in need.
“Finishing the ride in just over six hours was brilliant, but the true victory lies in the £510 he raised for Leukaemia Care. We’re incredibly proud of him for tackling the challenge and raising the money.”
Leukaemia Care remains a vital organisation, offering crucial support to those affected by this devastating disease, and Tom added: “There are 27 new cases of Leukaemia diagnosed in the UK every day, so while my ride might be over, the fight against Leukaemia continues.”
