Introducing Designer Doors to its product range has proved a shrewd move for CDW Systems.
The renowned Gloucester based aluminium fabricator, part of the East Manor Group, used the lockdown last year to add several new Smart Systems products to its range, including the Alitherm Heritage Range and the Aliver Rooflight system.
And Designer Doors, which combine the strength and style of aluminium with the versatile options for customisation offered by composite doors, have proved a hit.
Group Chairman Jeremy Phillips said: “We invested in all three Smart products in response to increasing demand from customers and Designer Doors have been selling really well. We’ve used 2021 to let our new products bed in and, for a high-end product, we’re really pleased with the way our Designer Doors are going out.”
The doors have been successfully tested to PAS 24:2016 Enhanced Security Performance, thanks in to a 10-point locking mechanism, and boast three adjustable hinges that can withstand an incredible 80kg of pressure.
Available with fixed-side or head-light glazing combinations, the range offers U Values as low as 0.9 thanks to new thermal break technology, a fully insulated door panel and triple glazed and laminated glass units and is available in four different styles and a wide range of colours.
