CDW Systems estimator/processor Tom Dwight is well on his way to hitting his fundraising target for Leukaemia Care – and he’s looking for more donations to help him hit it before May 26th.
That’s when Tom will be cycling 100 miles for Leukaemia Care at Ride for London.
He is hoping to raise £450 to help support those affected by the cancer by the time he sets off and has already reached £270.
Tom said: “There are 27 new cases of Leukaemia diagnosed in the UK every day, and unfortunately it is the most common type of childhood cancer. That’s 27 mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, grandparents, and friends’ lives thrown into disarray every day.
“Everyone knows somebody who has been affected by cancer, and with your help, we can help support those living with, and those affected, by Leukaemia and the amazing work the charity does across the country.
“I’d like to thank the generous donations I have had so far and there is still £180 to go. Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated, and anyone who would like to follow along with my training can see regular updates on the fundraising page and on my Strava.”
